On restriction of entry and movement of trucks weighing more than 8 tons with cargo allowed to Baku city by the Commission for the organization, regulation and safety of traffic under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Taking into account numerous citizens’ appeals in connection with the elimination of traffic congestion and optimization of the current situation in Baku recently, in order to increase the access capacity of roads, improve the transport provision of the population and ensure more reliable traffic safety as one of the relevant measures taken by the Commission of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on organization, regulation and safety of traffic except as special purpose vehicles, including emergency rescue and rescue vehicles, From October 27, 2022, it is planned to ban the entry and intracity traffic of trucks weighing more than 8 tons, including those with cargo, from 07:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. and fuel trucks from 06:00 a.m. to 00:00 p.m. We also note that trucks that entered the capital during the permitted period must leave the city before 07:00 a.m., and trucks that carries fuel before 06:00 a.m.

In this regard, all legal entities and individuals engaged in the transportation of goods, as well as cargo owners, are invited to adapt their activities to the specified periods.
