Information about the traffic accident that resulted in a fire in the territory of Garadagh region of the Main TPD of the MIA
05.01.2023On January 03, 2023 at 08:06 the "Mercedes Benz Axor" semi-trailer truck carrying fuel, state registration number 99-BH-926 driven by 39 year old Heydarov Nizami Gadir, a resident of Sharur district, collided with a car Kamaz of 42-BC-514 number plate moving on the same direction and driven by 43 year old Farzullayev Jeyhun Jasail, a resident of Lankaran, on the 58 km of the Baku-Gazakh-Goergia highway passing through Gobustan settlement of Garadagh district while moving on the road to Gazakh.
As a result of the collision, the fuel-laden "Mercedes" brand car went out of control, crashed into the iron fence on the left side of the road and caught fire. At that time, 59-year-old Aliyev Avsaladdin Tofig, a resident of Fuzuli city, who was moving in the same direction, hit a “Mercedes” brand truck with his “Opel Astra” car with state registration number 99-FX-526.
As a result, the driver of the "Mercedes" brand truck, Nizami Heydarov, was burned to death at the scene, and the driver of the "Opel" brand car, Avsaladdin Aliyev, was injured.
The employees of the Main State Traffic Police Department were immediately involved in the area and the safety of other traffic participants was ensured, necessary measures were taken to open the road and regulate the traffic together with the relevant agencies. A criminal case has been opened and an investigation is being conducted.
