Appeal of the Main State Traffic Police Department for the preparation of audiovisual and public works and information
25.01.2023In the regulations governing measures to ensure road safety in our country, as well as in the currently implemented State Program in this area, the requirement to take into account the promotion of road safety in the preparation of television and radio programs, audiovisual and works intended for public display or disclosure in other ways.
However, unfortunately, in some television and radio programs, clips, TV series, commercials, as well as in the posts of bloggers and art figures in social network segments, we are witnessing the publication of violations against traffic safety and traffic rules in a wide audience without any additional comments.
The misunderstanding of such audiovisual works, made with the participation of actors, well-known people in society, among road users, especially children and adolescents, causing them a desire to commit similar offenses, as well as the negative impact of such negative manifestations on the formation of the road culture of the growing young generation, raises serious concerns.
The Main State State Traffic Police Department, which implements the state policy in the field of road safety, notes the inadmissibility of such situations and calls on all media subjects, social media activists to contribute to the implementation of educational and propaganda activities in the field of road safety in our country.
