Holiday congratulations and recommendations of the Main State Traffic Police Department!

01.05.2022
The Main State Traffic Police Department of the MIA sincerely congratulates our compatriots on the upcoming Ramadan holiday and wishes a safe journey to every road user!
At the same time, we consider it important to bring to the attention of drivers and passengers preparing for a trip some recommendations, as the sequence of non-working days due to weekends and holidays allows us to predict an increase in the movement of the country’s population from the capital to the regions and vice versa.

In order to ensure road safety and avoid accidents during the holidays, drivers preparing for a trip must first pay attention to the condition of vehicles, ensure that not only themselves but also passengers fasten their seat belts while on movement. It should not be forgotten that strict adherence to the speed regime, rules of overtaking and maneuvering, correct assessment of road and weather conditions is an important condition for safety.

Dear drivers, avoid sitting behind the wheel when you’re sleepy or tired. Otherwise, you endanger yourself and other road users. When traveling long distances, take a short break after every 2-3 hours of continuous movement and pay attention to the technical condition of your vehicle. For this, you can use the conditions created at the stationary posts of the STP, located on the roads of national importance.
We advise passengers to fulfill their legal obligations to reach their homes safely, to refrain from distracting drivers, not to be indifferent to their mood swings and violations they commit while driving the vehicle and not to participate in the process of illegal passenger transportation.
